MOVIE PREMIER - COVEN 'A Gothic Tale of Aurelia and The Veil'

Dear JL Community, 

From the pages of my diary, I would like to formally welcome you to the Coven. This mini film focuses on a woman by the name of Aurelia and her journey of depression, recovery, relapse and resurgence.

The cinematic account of Aurelia's story represents the foundation of the John and Luna brand. Showcasing multiple layers of light and shadow or what Da Vinci would call it - Chiaroscuro. 

Here at JL we love magic and this film was no different - I wanted to mix magic with our reality, the human part of all of us that we sometimes hide in fear of judgement. 

I have reached inside the darkest corners of my mind and heart that is responsible for the beauty you see on the surface of John and Luna. Though this journey was hard in more ways than one, it was you who got me through. 

I would like to personally thank you for your love and support as I navigated this chapter of JL. Telling the true story of JL wasn't easy and you welcomed me with open arms and reassurance. All of your kind words and love mean so much to me and encouraged me to keep going, to keep chasing my dreams. 

I dedicate this mini film to you - It's time to let the shadow rise to surface and hands with the bright and shiny lights we see on the surface. 

I hope you find a reflection of yourself in this mini film, a place of commonality and reassurance - to know you are not alone in whatever journey you are on. To know that there is a community right here with open arms ready to listen and comfort you just like you've comforted me.
